1. 清邁曼谷火車預定 Booking train between Bangkok and Chiang Mai

網路上有很多代訂網頁（價格較貴），設計精美英文標示清楚的都不是泰國國鐵官網，網頁打不太開，網頁一開就是泰文的就保證是官方網頁了....

建議用電腦訂，我用蘋果手機訂一直卡在信用卡付款那邊無法成功。

下午五點出發的是舊火車，下午六點出發的是新火車，新火車價格較貴，記得一定要提前訂火車，我出發前三天訂新火車已經沒有下舖位子。舊火車旅途中有柴油味，聞久了很想吐，而且好多小蟑螂爬來爬去，當床鋪好時窗簾拉起來，蟑螂出現在火車牆內跟你在一個擁擠的小空間真的很可怕...旅途中我至少看到20隻，我打死了四隻左右

Lots of booking train tickets wedsites but not the offficial website of Thai Railway, they charge higher price but with English illustration...

If you see wesite in Thai at first, and not working smothly you know you are at the right website...Book it with computer(I had a problem with paying by phone) and print out your ticket, can reserve a seat 90 days ahead.  

17:00 departs from Chiang Mai operates with old train, you can smell diesel fuel nearly entire journey, I felt nauseous and had to wear mask during my sleep. Lots of tiny cockroaches running around in the train( I saw at least 20 during my trip), although it is an interesting experience, but I do not think I will do it again at second class, probably first class and new train has better conditions.... 18:00 departs from Chiang Mai operates with new train, the price is higher than 17:00. I reserved my train too late(3 days before), no bottom berth available at 18:00 then I have to travel with old train.

2. Rent a scooter at CHiang Mai and bring your international driver picense

在清邁1個人建議租摩托車，機動性較大，在清邁單趟古城約20泰銖，去素帖山比較貴。租一台一天摩托車約250-300，摩托車很新，記得帶國際駕照。我在一間飯店租的，他們有合作車行，此間飯店十分親切，我只租機車但老闆娘nana人非常的好，還幫我叫車到清邁火車站。泰國是左駕，但如果在台灣習慣騎摩托車在清邁不困難，清邁蠻悠閒的，雖然有時候車多看起來會撞到你但是車子基本上我覺得比台灣的機車禮讓且不兇。

I rent a scooter at Jaidee Baomboo Huts which near my hotel, around 250-300 baht per day, owners are super friendly.

3. 清邁推薦飯店 Chiang Mai Hotel: Chinda

Walk in price pay by cash is 500 baht for single room, love the terrace! very clean, rare single room with good price. Staff named sky is funny a bit chatty but a nice guy, he recommended a very good massage store, the best I had at Thailand and with good price, just around the corner of chinda. It's called delight massage, ask for Bir for whole body massage, she is very talented and very attentive,if I know her at the first day of my trip I will go every day. other girl is also very good, I do not remember her name, but I tried food massage with her first then I decided to come back in one hour for whole body massage.

Do not go to vegan restaurant in front of chinda, overpriced, watery smoothie, do not understand the 5 stars google feedback, rather go to traditional market.

For budget drom bed may consider nearthepark hostel, single room not recommended.

4.  曼谷推薦飯店 Hotel at Bangkok

"The quater ONNUT(sky train station)" by HUG is first pick, a bit far way from onnut station, it is in the middle of two stops, around 900 bht per night, book at booking is cheaper than walk in. Small but stunning rooftop swimming pool, but going on construction next to this hotel 2022, not so noisy but it is going on even. at the weekend, maybe can ask for a room opposite to construction. 

Hotel Amber Sukhumvit 85 is also nice a bit closer to ONNUT station. Bigger room(too big for one person), facilities HUG is better, also 85 staff does not really speak English.

ONNUT station has loctus tesco supermarket which has food court, selling mecidine, snacks, clothes. Also a good exchnage store near Onnut station, people say the rate is very good, but I only exchanged once at Bangkok, australian dollar exchange rate or euro is better than the one at Chiang Mai, USD is still the best currency to use at Thailand I would say. But no need to exchange USD first I suppopposed.

5. Buy a sim card at bkk airport 在曼處機場行李轉盤處就買好無流量限制的上網電話卡，人員會幫你開通好，市區7-11也有賣但不能保證有人能幫你開通。

Buy a sim card with unlimited data at luggage claim at the airport, it‘s around 800 bht for 2 weeks, they have other longer time package, I dont remember the company I use, maybe the company with green colour. Although you can buy sim card at 7-11 in the city but nobody will validate for you and I guess the instructions is in Thai, no promises that 7-11 staff can speak English.

6. inDrive app rate is much cheaper than UBer.

7. Bring a thin and big scarf, ladies should cover their legs, arms entering temples, scarf also good for too cold airconditioned room which is very common in Thailand.

8. Try thai milk tea at ChaTraMue, you can see a tea shop with red sign and a thumb almost everywhere at Bangkok, food court at shopping mall, china town, main street.
